Successful mission trip to Brazil

On 29th June a team of 8 young people left Heathrow for a 10 day STM to the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. They ministered in churches through drama, dance and testimony, and also visited a number of projects including a day working with YWAM in one of the city slums.

The team also visited 2 new church plants - the Apostolic Church in Brazil has grown by 60% in the last 5 years. The reception the team received from their Brazilian hosts was first class. Whilst there Pastor Ian Ross, team leader, received a plaque from one of the churches thanking Action Overseas and the Apostolic Church in the UK for all the support over the years.

On their final night together the team shared their experiences. Every team member was significantly impacted by the experience. One team member said, “my God has just become so much bigger”, and another, “for me meeting so many amazing people doing so many amazing things showed God is limitless”.
