Unreached people groups being reached in Cardiff

Cardiff International Church was launched on 13th July 2008. Since then, the Lord has gradually transformed CIC into a missional church by bringing many souls (especially students) from 59 nations over the last 3 years. Pastor Gi-Jung’s church is successfully penetrating into cultures that are intensely resistant to the Good News.

Here is one of CIC’s recent conversion stories:

‘A Japanese lady with no Christian background came to the Lord. She initially joined the Free English Classes with her husband who was a Japanese researcher (medical doctor) at a local hospital in Cardiff, and eventually attended the Bible study and the Sunday service before coming to know the Lord.

'As the percentage of Japanese Christians is less than 1 percent, it has been delightful to see her growing and helping the church as a committed member. Her two young daughters also continue to learn about the Lord through Sunday school. While her Japanese parents visited Wales this year, they also attended the Sunday service and church event with appreciation for the church’s care for their daughter’s family and had a lovely time of fellowship with us.’

Gi-Jung is partly funded through ActionOverseas.
