Outreach to Engage Students-

on .

Recently in Ho Chi Minh City young men and women have been arriving to take up university places and the Apostolic Church in Vietnam is embracing this as an opportunity to reach out and engage with some of them. Many come from poor areas and are unable to secure decent accommodation in which to live as most of their money is spent on the course itself.

David, the leader of the Apostolic Church in Vietnam, along with others in the Ho Chi Minh church have rented two homes where up to 30 students will live alongside students who are believers. This project needs around US$800 per month to be effective. This is a long term project and partnership between the AC Vietnam and ActionOverseas. The AC in Vietnam is contributing US$360 pcm and the students are contributing US$40. ActionOverseas have committed to US$400 pcm. The idea is that over the four year period of university, students will have a first hand view of how Christians live. If you would like to be part of this project please email or speak to either Nigel Bainbridge ( This email address is being protected from spambots.
