Sweet money!

Turn up at church on Sunday with say 30 tubes of Smarties.  Ask if anyone would like one and shake it to show it is genuine.  When people raise their hands you throw them out to them (much fun here trying to miss wigs and false teeth!)  

You then explain that you want people to enjoy the Smarties and when the tube is empty, to fill it up with 20p, 50p or £1 coins and then return it.

Aberdeen Apostolic Church recently handed out about 30 tubes in the church.  So far they have received 4 back and that alone has raised £63.50.  The cost of the 30 tubes was only £7.50.  And it was a really fun way of getting people engaged with FUNdraising in the church.  It inspired quite a few young people too
