They Said “I DO”
Great blessings are abounding as more and more pastors are getting married legally and having a service in the local church giving testimony of their marriages in their communities. In the month of May Pastors Tito, Binda and Tiago were married and were very excited as they shared with us in the regional meeting about their special day.
During our Leadership Training Seminar in February it became very evident that pastor’s wives were very keen to learn more about the ministry and how to be able to work along side their husbands in the church.
There is a high level of commitment among the pastor’s wives and their eagerness to help make their churches strong was evident. Many issues arose from our discussions as Liz and I brought teaching and our own experience from our years of ministry into their lives.
It was interesting to see that the same spiritual problems that face pastor’s wives in the UK are not so different in Moçambique. It was a great time of togetherness for the pastors and wives of the Manica region and we are sure that there will be many more of these special days arranged in the future.
