Kinshasa pilgrims seek church building

The work in Kinshasa goes on well, we held various Seminars and other meetings with them along with meeting the church leadership.  Unfortunately the group had to vacate the premises that we have been using for the past two years.

At present they are using a house belonging to Pastor Damien’s sister but this arrangement is only until June and then they must look for somewhere else.

They reminded us of the children of Israel, wandering from place to place and we felt very sad for them.

During our time there, we visited many plots with a view to finding a suitable place to build a church.  There was a site that we felt was very good but, like everything else in the DRC, the cost is exorbitant - ₤ 1200 ! and then there is the cost of erecting the building.

We came home feeling a little discouraged as the needs on the different fields can be quite demanding.  On Sunday morning past, the Cape Town Missions Committee showed a DVD called “How great is our God”.

Even though the task ahead of us seems impossible, we serve a BIG God and He is able!
We would ask for special prayer concerning the above and ask you to believe with us that we can raise this finance.
