John and Margaret Yeoman complete Service in Latvia

John and Margaret Yeoman complete their service as missionaries in Latvia in July. John will be serving as the pastor of the Penygroes assembly. The sale of John and Margaret’s house in Latvia is now completed and they plan to attend AblazeUK. John and Margaret wish to thank all those who have supported in friendship, prayer and finance over the past four years.

John Yeoman writes:
On Sunday the 28th of May 2006 we were officially welcomed to Latvija by the churches. On Sunday the 11th of July in Ogre, and Sunday the 18th of July in Platone, we said our formal, fond but sad farewells to the saints here. Each service came and went amidst the run of emotions that inevitably affected us having committed ourselves in the pursuit of “Beauty for Ashes” for the Latvijan saints personally and collectively. The mission is not over! Our part in it might be, but to adapt some well used words. God’s workmen change, but His work continues! Please continue to pray for Pastor Andrew Jenkins as he now carries on the work in Latvija, the Baltic States as well as the surrounding nations.

So, from a sultry summer’s day in Ozolnieki,
with 2,655 kms. (that’s 1,643 miles) to travel to
Pen-y-groes. From Latvia the land that loves to sing...
We say, for the last time....Uz Redzesanos! Visu labu! Dievs Sveti Latviju!’
