From Drug Lord to Deacon!

Ivor and Alice from South Africa write:
The visit of Pastors Eric Parker and David Wade from ActionOverseas to South Africa a few weeks ago was very successful. The Pastors visited the cities of Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town and were involved in Seminars and general ministry. We were also thrilled to have them with us for the ordination of some Apostles and a Prophet.

The South African field has had indigenous Apostles located in the Durban Region for some years and this time we ordained two more Apostles and a Prophet from Durban. However, this was a historic occasion because of the ordination into the Apostleship of Pastor Michael Feder from Cape Town and Pastor Erling Van Wyk from Johannesburg. We do believe that the Lord has raised up these men from the three cities in South Africa and that the work will continue to go forward. Some of you will remember Brother Fred Isaacs. Previous to his conversion, he was a drug lord who operated throughout the Cape Flats area.

The photograph shows Fred being ordained as a Deacon in the Mitchell's Plain church.'
