Preparations under way - but still work to be done in Latvia

John Yeoman from Latvia writes:
With possibly less that 6 months left here in Latvia it is very much a time of giving ourselves to the practical issues ready for our return to the UK. This occupies some of our evenings together. as John and I busy ourselves compiling check lists, making sure we have all Company information on who holds 'foreigner deposits' - you know extra money required to be paid to Latvian businesses when we arrived in case we did a runner! - as well all the usual requirements in preparation for aremoval. Please pray with us that everything shall go smoothly, for one thing is sure, it will come and go much more quickly that we imagine.

In the interim we feel as if we are acting as liaison officers between the people and places who want to retain contact and those in the UK who have expressed a desire to maintain contact, with Schools, Orphanages, Families or Individuals. Please pray with us that this shall also go smoothly, as too, the final training courses which are    proving to be rich in content and blessing. During these sessions we have seen God touch the lives of people in a way that has been unique and special. All still part of the 'beauty for ashes' ministry that has accompanied us as we move and minister in different places.

It has been an amazing journey to watch as the 'word' takes effect on people's lives. From their initial feelings to reject what they hear, then to accept as viable for someone else, then to see a     personal acceptance, and finally a personal implementation of the word.     Facial expressions can be a dead give-away for many during these stages, but there is always one most important reaction that is the trigger of personal transition which says, 'yes, it can happen for me' - and that's the tears.'When the tears flow the heart begins to melt and it becomes the organ of receptivity for the enduring word to become the transforming word; what is seen in their own eyes as hopeless situations, now becomes a glorious possibility, and for some - reality. What a sight! What an atmosphere! What a privilege!Tools in the Master's Hands, as He carves out change from one degree of glory to another!
