Donations makes difference in Malawi

After reports of earthquakes in Malawi, Chile and Haiti, we are happy to report more positive news this month! Thanks to a very generous donation from the youth in our Dover church we were able to make Christmas Day more special for some groups of orphans in our churches. But for our local church here in Likhubula, we decided to have a   special occasion and so this week we held a Sunday School prize giving day. 

The day began with games and quizzes, children reciting Bible verses then all enjoying a good meal of rice, beans and cabbage.  The two Sunday School teachers - yes only two - coped well with around 100 children aged between 2yrs - 12yrs!  The day concluded with the regular Sunday School attendees  receiving a gift of notebook, pen and pencil and sweets. 

Please pray for John and Maggie and the many other committed    Sunday School teachers throughout Malawi.  We hope to have another training week for Sunday School teachers later in the year
