Burma children’s home building - work continues on target

Ahmad Ali from Kids Alive writes:
The building work at the Apostolic village is progressing well and it is hoped the site will be ready to accept children at the beginning of April.

Maria, one of the carers is busy preparing for the arrival of the children; bedding, mosquito nets, clothes and food have already been bought to the temporary accommodation near the village. Sultan, Lydia and Rebecca are currently in the dealt area working on the necessary paper work to bring orphan children back to the capital.

The military government views the Karen tribe, who make up the majority of the delta’s inhabitants, as their mortal enemy, so the government will not be in favour of providing Christian care for orphan Karen children.

This is dangerous work, so please pray for their safety and that of the children. Also pray that we will be able to discern the most needy children.
