‘YES THEY CAN’ IN MOZAMBIQUE

Elwyn and Liz Williams write, ‘The Leadership at the National Centre Chimoio has taken a new step into the New Year. They prepared a list of competent women speakers to be involved throughout the year on the weekly Sunday morning preaching programme. After a long hard struggle of working and teaching the women and with months of encouragement of saying “Yes We Can” it was a thrill to see it launched to a rousing applause as Liz initiated the programme as being the first women speaker.

This month we have had money made available to us from various donations to buy 60 Portuguese Bibles and 30 Sena Bibles. We are able to put a hard covered Bible into the hands of each person for £2.50. Packing the truck-up normally is hard work but I was so overjoyed packing the truck up for this journey.’
