HUNGER RELIEF IN MALAWI

Alan and Sandra write, ‘We want to take this opportunity to thank all the churches and individuals who have enabled us to carry out a hunger relief programme during the present ‘hungry’ season. Significant contributions from the Aberdeen and Dover churches made it possible for us to buy maize to help those suffering with hunger related issues.

Every District was allocated bags of food according to the numbers in the District. We are now in the growing season and the fields are showing promise in many parts of the country. Pray with us that 2009 will be a year of good harvests! The vast majority of the people in our churches depend on the food that they can grow and so any change to the weather pattern means another difficult year’.
